Learn how to WingFoil with professional instruction and boat support.  This is the complete lesson that includes training in both Wing Flying and FoilBoard riding.   

 

To learn properly, you should be able to perform each activity  independently first then join the two together.

First, you will learn how to fly a Wing to properly handle it and use the power of the wind.  Second, you will learn how ride a Foilboard by getting towed alongside the boat.

Then, you put the two skills together and start Wingin it!

Come Wing The Bay and enjoy one of the most spectacular WingFoiling settings in the world!  This Golden Gate Expedition is an experience of a lifetime where you will start Winging near the Golden Gate Bridge and ride downwind to Treasure Island.  Along the way, you will ride passed the San Francisco cityfront and Alcatraz.  The enitre session is boat supported so you are guaranteed to make it back to land!  This is for advanced riders only and you must be prepared for strong, gusty winds and choppy waters.

Learn how ride a FoilBoard with this special training technique. You’ll use the support of the pole while you feel the “push-up” from the foil underneath you. It’s the best way to get used to feeling of foiling!

Flying a wing is half of WingFoiling.  You have to feel and understand the power of the wind and balance your body weight against the pull of the wing.  You’ll be ready to get on a board and start WingFoiling  after spending time flying the Wing.  This is half of the lesson, the other half is riding a FoilBoard.
